This is full of fantastic pictures of hundreds of custom cars and their interiors. This is not a “how to” book but, simply great pictures of finished interiors. I do custom upholstery for a living, and gave me some great ideas based on what other upholsters have created.

Getting your hot rod or custom to stand out is tough. The ideas presented in this book cover many options–including the outrageous–and serve to spur the imagination. It’s also about being unique. The book offers insights into the hottest trends, and in some cases, helps caution you on what not to do.This is the type of book you take to the upholstery shop before the stitching. It can save money and time.

I was looking for some ideas for my new hot rod, and I can’t get over the photos in this book. Some of the cars and trucks are, in my opinion, truly hideous, but some are astonishingly beautiful and some are just hilarious.
There are literally hundreds of photos of pretty much every kind of car, so if you want to see what people are doing to their cars right now or if you are looking for ideas for your own car or for your customers, this is really a cool book.
The last chapter also has some helpful tips for working with shops or organizing your own ideas, and there’s a really long resources section with contact info for part manufacturers and hot rod builders and upholstery shops etc.

Recently, I came across this fantastic book and quickly discovered it was so much more than just beautiful pictures and great ideas for customizing the interior of any automobile.
As I flipped through the glossy pages, I was immediately inspired and began coming up with great ways to use this information in all aspects of my decorating. We choose one of our room paint colors based on an interior we both liked in here and even took some of the upholstery ideas for recovering furniture in our office.
There is so much great stuff in here and best of all it’s timeless. Everyone should have a copy of this book in their home. This is truly a book you’ll want to have forever and it looks great on your coffee table too boot!
